Second skin

I found the second skin document to be very interesting from the perspective that people allow MMO's to get so detrimental to their lives. In particular I found that Andy had really not seen how much gaming had negatively affected his relationship and was beginning to build resentment between him and his fiance. This is something that he will come to regret in the future when she inevitable gets tired of his habit. Also this kind of gaming is not healthy and will be worse in the long run.

Children on the internet

I found the statistics on under-aged children on Facebook to be quite shocking. The fact that so many under-aged children even have the desire to be on Facebook is what shocked me. Back in my day, children wanted to play games and sports and go outside and play. Now a days children would rather be on a computer or tablet and spend their time consumed in media. Parents need to be aware and conscious of their child's online activity rather than shoving a device into their faces.

Snowden-Legget Debate

I agree with Edward Snowden because he seems to more concerned with protecting the

privacy of the everyday people and intent on making sure we are protected from the

government. I feel that Snowden is more genuine and more concerned about my online privacy

than Legget is because Snowden wants to expose the truth behind the issues. Snowden seems

more intent on exposing the activities that the government does behind our backs and letting it

be known to the everyday person. It is up to us as Americans to stand up against the

government and fight for our rights and not allow them to be taken. I see Snowden as a hero for

taking a stand when so many other people would be scared to do so.
